Dongola experiences hot and dry conditions year-round. Summer months, June to September, are marked by scorching temperatures often reaching highs of over 45°C with minimal rainfall. Autumn, October to November, brings slight reprieve in temperature but remains arid. Winters, December to February, see average temperatures around 29°C, with little change throughout the month.
