Kolda experiences a hot and dry climate year-round, with temperatures gradually increasing through the dry season. From January to April, temperatures rise steadily, reaching their peak in March and April with average highs around 43°C. The heat remains intense throughout May and June, before slowly subsiding in July and August. Autumn brings a slight respite from the heat, but temperatures still remain relatively high until November, after which they begin to decrease again. The coolest months are December and January, with average lows around 15°C.
