Chunian's climate is characterized by hot summers and mild winters. The summer months of May, June, and July are sweltering with temperatures often reaching as high as 43°C, while the winter months of December and January are quite chilly with temperatures dipping to around 6°C. Spring, from March to April, brings moderate temperatures ranging from 15°C to 40°C, while autumn, from September to November, experiences a slight drop in temperature, averaging around 18-29°C. The summer heat gradually subsides in August and September as the days shorten.
