In the dry season from January to April, Sittwe experiences warm temperatures with average highs ranging from 32°C to 36°C. The humidity is relatively low, making the heat more bearable. During these months, rainfall is scarce, with most days being sunny and clear. In May, the onset of the southwest monsoon brings an increase in precipitation and a drop in temperature, with average highs dipping to around 28°C. From June to September, the region experiences heavy rainfall and high humidity, making it the wettest period of the year.
