Nouadhibou's climate is characterized by a gradual warming trend as the year progresses. The coolest months, January and December, average around 20°C, with temperatures rarely dipping below 14°C or rising above 32°C/31°C. By April and May, temperatures have increased to an average of 21°C, with highs reaching up to 33C/34 C. Summer months, June to August, bring the highest temperatures, peaking at around 37 C in June and soaring as high as 40 C in August, with averages ranging from 23 to 25°C. The temperature cools slightly in autumn, October and November, before dropping back down to winter levels by December.
