Winters in Ohrid are cold and unpredictable, with temperatures often fluctuating between freezing and mild. January is the coldest month, but even then, temperatures can rise into double digits, making it a time of transition. As spring approaches, temperatures gradually warm up, reaching highs of 29°C in April and 31°C in May, with June marking the beginning of hot summers. The summer months are characterized by sweltering heat, with July and August being the hottest, but also the driest. Autumn brings a welcome respite from the heat, with temperatures cooling down to around 10-15°C, before the winter chill sets in once more.
