Saitama's winters are chilly, with temperatures often below freezing and averaging around 4°C in January. As spring arrives, the temperature gradually warms up, reaching averages of 14°C by April and 19°C by May. Summer brings hot days, with July and August seeing averages above 25°C, but also occasional cooler mornings. Autumn is mild, with temperatures dropping back down to around 12°C in November. Winters are cold again, with December temperatures averaging around 6°C, not much warmer than January's average.
