Koryo's climate is marked by a gradual warming trend throughout the year, with temperatures rising steadily from winter to summer. In the depths of winter, January and December temperatures often drop below freezing, averaging around 6°C and 8°C respectively. As spring arrives in March, temperatures begin to rise more noticeably, reaching an average high of 11°C by April, when cherry blossoms typically bloom. Summer months, June to August, bring scorching heat, with temperatures frequently soaring above 30°C, but September's warmth is short-lived as the mercury drops again. Autumn, October and November, sees a return to more moderate temperatures, averaging around 13-19°C before winter sets in once more.
