Kariya's winters are mild, with temperatures rarely dropping below freezing and averaging around 5°C in January. As spring approaches, temperatures gradually warm up, reaching averages of 14°C by April. Summer is hot and humid, with July and August often seeing highs above 35°C, but also experiencing occasional cooler days. Autumn brings a welcome respite from the heat, with mild temperatures in September giving way to slightly chillier conditions in November. By December, winter returns, with temperatures ranging from just below freezing to around 18°C on warmer days.
