Baghdad's climate is characterized by mild winters and scorching summers. Winters, spanning from December to February, are cool with average temperatures ranging from 10-14°C, making them the coolest period of the year. Spring, which lasts from March to May, brings warm temperatures, often reaching up to 46°C in May, while autumn, from September to November, is also relatively mild with temperatures rarely exceeding 35°C. Summers are extremely hot, with July and August being the hottest months, averaging highs around 50°C.
