Gulbarga experiences warm to hot temperatures throughout the year. Summer months from March to May are particularly sweltering with high temperatures often reaching above 40°C. Rainfall is scarce during these months, averaging less than 10 mm per month. The monsoon season brings slight respite in June and July with average rainfall of around 100 mm, but temperatures remain relatively hot. Autumn months from October to November see a slight drop in temperature, but still experience average highs above 30°C, while winter months from December to February are the coolest with average highs ranging from 22-25°C.
