Gudiyattam experiences a warm and humid climate throughout the year. Winters, which span from December to February, are mild with temperatures ranging from 20-30°C. As spring approaches in March and April, temperatures rise steadily, often reaching highs of 38°C, marking the beginning of summer. The summer months, May to July, bring high temperatures with occasional dips, while monsoon season is relatively dry. Autumn, from September to November, sees a slight drop in temperature, but still remains warm with highs around 30°C.
