Limoges experiences a mild climate with distinct seasonal variations. Winters are cool and sometimes chilly, with temperatures often below freezing in January and February, but warming up towards the end of winter. As spring approaches, temperatures gradually rise, with April and May being quite pleasant, with average highs around 12-18°C. Summers are warm to hot, with July and August being the warmest months, while September brings a slight cooling down before autumn sets in. Autumn is generally mild, but can be cool again from November onwards, when temperatures drop back down to averages around 6°C.
