Xinji's climate is characterized by a gradual warming trend throughout the year. Winters are quite cold, with temperatures often below freezing, especially in January and December, but February sees a significant rise in temperature. As spring approaches, March and April bring moderate temperatures, while May marks the beginning of warmer months. Summer months, June to August, are hot and humid, with temperatures consistently above 20°C, before gradually cooling down from September onwards. Autumn is relatively cool, with temperatures dropping below 0°C again in November and December.
