Shenyang's winter is extremely cold, with temperatures often dropping below -20°C in January and February. Spring brings a slow warming trend, with March and April temperatures gradually rising above freezing. Summer is warm but not sweltering, with July being the hottest month, but still only reaching highs of around 36°C. Autumn cools down rapidly, returning to chilly temperatures by September. Winter's chill returns in November and December, making it a cold and snowy season once more.
