Huludao's climate is characterized by cold winters and mild springs. During spring, temperatures gradually warm up from around 0°C in February to an average of 8°C in March. Summer months bring warm temperatures, with July being the hottest month, but even then, temperatures rarely exceed 25°C. Autumn is generally cool, with temperatures dropping significantly in November, averaging around 5°C. Winters are long and cold, with January often below freezing at an average temperature of -6°C.
