Huangshan's climate is characterized by distinct seasons. Winters are cold and dry, with temperatures often below freezing in January and December, but can rise to around 20°C in the warmer parts of these months. Spring brings a significant temperature increase, with April being particularly warm, while May and June mark the beginning of summer with mild temperatures. Summers are hot and humid, with July and August temperatures rarely dipping below 15°C or rising above 35°C. Autumn is mild and relatively dry, with September and October enjoying pleasant temperatures before the cold winter sets in again.
