Hongjiang's climate is characterized by mild winters and hot, humid summers. Spring arrives in March with temperatures gradually warming up, averaging around 14°C, while the summer months of June, July, and August bring sweltering heat with highs often reaching 33°C or more. Autumn brings a welcome respite from the summer heat, with comfortable temperatures ranging from 18 to 25°C in October and November. Winters are generally cool but not harsh, with January being the coolest month at an average of around 6°C. The region experiences significant rainfall throughout the year, with July often receiving more than 200mm of precipitation.
