Dengtacun's winters are harsh, with temperatures plummeting as low as -28°C in January and February, but gradually warming up by March. Spring brings a welcome respite, with temperatures rising steadily from around 0°C in April to 22°C in June, and then cooling down slightly in the summer months. July is the warmest month, with average highs of around 26°C, while August is only marginally cooler. Autumn sees temperatures drop again, returning to near-freezing by November, before stabilizing somewhat over winter.
