Spring, from March to May, brings rapid warming, with average temperatures rising from near-freezing in March to over 20°C by May. Summer, from June to August, is hot and dry, with temperatures frequently reaching above 30°C, while autumn, from September to November, sees a gradual cooling, returning to chilly winter conditions by December.
