Bafia experiences a warm and humid climate year-round. The town has two distinct wet seasons: the first one runs from March to July with high temperatures and humidity, peaking in May and June with average highs around 30°C. After a brief dry spell, the second rainy season occurs from September to November, bringing more rainfall and maintaining relatively warm temperatures. During the dry months of December to February, temperatures remain consistent at around 25-27°C, although it can still be quite humid. Throughout the year, Bafia's climate is characterized by abundant rainfall and high humidity levels.
