Sylhet experiences a subtropical climate with distinct seasonal variations. Winters, spanning January and February, are cool with temperatures ranging from 2-33°C, making it the coolest period of the year. Spring, from March to May, brings rising temperatures up to 36°C on average. Summers, lasting June to September, are hot with temperatures often above 30°C, although not excessively so. Autumn, in October and November, sees a gradual decrease in temperature before winter sets in again, making December relatively cool once more.
