Lubango's climate is characterized by mild winters and warm summers. Winters, from June to August, are cool with average temperatures ranging from 12°C to 25°C, while springs, from September to November, bring warmer temperatures, often reaching highs of 32°C. Summer months, December to February, are hot with temperatures fluctuating between 17°C and 32°C on average. In the shoulder season, March to May, temperatures are relatively mild, ranging from 16°C to 26°C, making it a pleasant time to visit. Autumn, from June to August, is also cool, but not as chilly as winter.
